SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A man was arrested in South Lake Tahoe on Sunday afternoon after a multi-agency search for him that started on Saturday.
Police attempted to issue an arrest for 43-year-old South Lake Tahoe resident Adrian Gannion in the 900 block of Glorene Ave. on Saturday, July 30. When contacted, Gannion fled from the officers. He was believed to be hiding in the Gardner Mountain area.
People were told to avoid the area of Lake Tahoe Blvd. and Glorene Ave. and call 911 if they saw anything suspicious.
Deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, officers from the South Lake Tahoe Police Department, officers from California Highway Patrol (CHP) and a CHP helicopter searched the area for him.
The South Lake Tahoe Police Department, jointly with the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department, took Gannion into custody without incident on August 1.
Officials say that Gannion is on Post Release Community Supervision and has a no bail warrant for failing to abide by the conditions of his release.
