Two people are dead, one suspect is in custody after deputies were called out for a weapons offence.

On Saturday, just before noon, Grant County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to the 8000 block of Road 18 NE in Moses Lake.

When deputies arrived, they say two people were found dead, according to the spokesperson for the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Kyle Foreman.

One suspect is in custody, he is being interviewed by investigators according to Foreman.

At this time the two people found dead are believed to be adults, however their genders have not yet been released.

Investigators are also not releasing what type of weapon was involved or the relationship between the suspect and the victims.

Authorities also say it's too soon to say if the incident is gang or drug related.

It's also unknown who called in the weapons offence.

The area of the 8000 block Road 18 NE is blocked off. Authorities say it's at a dead end road and should not impact traffic with the exception of those who live near the area.
