5 firefighters among 7 hurt after firetruck, car collide in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A collision between a firetruck and a car in Queens early Sunday morning left seven people hurt, including five firefighters.

The vehicles collided shortly before 4:15 a.m. at 61st Street and Queens Boulevard in Woodside, according to the FDNY.

Citizen App video shows numerous FDNY members at the intersection after the crash.

Five firefighters and two civilians were treated and transported to area hospitals, the FDNY said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
