Man cut from truck by firefighters after hitting pole

SAN ANTONIO - A man had to be cut from his truck by firefighters after hitting a pole Saturday night.

Police were called out to NW Military and Wurzbach Road just North of downtown for reports of a crash around 10:13 p.m.

According to the police, three cars were involved in the crash.

Police tell us the driver of the pickup truck was taken to University Hospital in stable condition after being extracted from his truck.

Everyone else involved in the accident was treated on the scene and released.

Police do not believe intoxication was a factor in the crash.

No other details were available and no other injuries were reported.
