OSHP investigating plane crash in Urbana

URBANA, Ohio (WKEF) - The Springfield Outpost of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is at the scene of a plane crash in Urbana. OSHP said the crash happened Sunday morning at around 8:22 a.m. near the Grimes Field Airport. A 1989 Van's RV-6 experimental plane lost power while approaching the runway.

Investigators said Michael Baldwin, 61 of Pickerington landed the plane in a field. No injuries were reported in the incident. OSHP was assisted by Urbana Fire and EMS, the Urbana Police Department, Grimes Field Airport and Maine's Towing.
