Woman run down and killed after man kicks her out of the car

HOUSTON – A man’s decision to kick a woman out of his car during an argument turned deadly Saturday night.
It was shortly before 10 p.m. when a couple was arguing and fighting as they drove northbound on North 45 Freeway. The man took the Airtex exit, stopped at a gas station and told the woman to get out of the car.
She did and he left.
“The pedestrian was walking along Airtex Drive and was struck by a – what appears to be an older model silver or gray four-door sedan that was traveling westbound on Airtex Drive,” explained Sgt Cooper from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
“The pedestrian was a Hispanic female – and she died due to her injuries on the scene,” said Cooper.
Police continue to investigate.
