Kirbysouthern utah adoptable pets Kirby

Kirby is such a silly, friendly, and smart boy who has many friends at the center, both volunteers and staff alike. He is well-behaved and walks well on his harness. He will do anything for a treat and knows lots of basic commands, including ‘sit,’ ‘down,’ ‘paw’ and ‘bow.’

Kirby enjoys walks, hikes, agility training and nosework, but also enjoys a good nap. If you are looking for an awesome pup with a lovable personality to join your family of teens and adults, this is your guy!

Josh

Josh is a big goofy boy with lots of energy and lots of love to give. Josh loves attention and soft toys. He can forget how strong he is at times and be a little too enthusiastic when greeting, but he’s attentive to his people and has been enjoying working on his manners. He loves being active especially playing in water and hiking so he’d be a good partner for someone looking for an adventure buddy. Josh likes to be the center of attention so would prefer to live in a house with no other pets so he can receive all the love!

If you think Josh would be a good fit for you or your family, or if you would like to learn more, click “Adopt Josh” above to complete our survey and be connected with an Adoption Specialist.

Fitz

Fitz is an artsy kind of guy with his own unique style. His eye-liner is on point, enhancing his gorgeous brown eyes, and he even has a few spatters of color that looks like he painted them himself.

This one-of-a-kind work of art will take his time getting to know you but will fall hard once he does! Don’t be surprised if he lays his head in your lap and rolls over to be painted like one of Leo’s French girls. Fitz is a great hiking buddy and enjoys connecting with nature to get ideas for his future paintings. He will also be happy to take in the scenery while cruising around in your car. Fitz likes to kick back and relax after a day on the trails.

Once you are pals, he will be a devoted and loyal companion and might even paint your portrait. (Just kidding! He can’t do that, but he does know sit!) Running zoomies in the yard is another one of his hobbies. Like many famous artists who came before him, Fitz has his quirks. For example, our aspiring Picasso loves children but is afraid of chickens!
A demanding artist also requires your sole affection, so no other dogs in the home. If you’re a fan of his artistic flair, come meet Fitz and see if you can make a masterpiece together!

If you think Fitz would be a good fit for your family or if you would like to learn more, click Adopt Fitz above to complete our survey and be connected with an Adoption Specialist.

Willysouthern utah adoptable pets Willy

Handsome Willy can often be found lying in silly positions (Click his link to see photos). He is initially very nervous with new people, but gains confidence with time, especially in a quiet and calm environment. In fact, once you’ve earned his trust, Willy will even allow pets and show off his affectionate side.

He takes pain medication for arthritis but is an otherwise healthy senior.
Do you have room in your home for this sweet, loving cat to live out his golden years?

Juneausouthern utah adoptable pets Juneau

Juneau, or “Baby June” as her caregivers affectionately call her, came to us in 2017 as an owner surrender. This crossed-eyed, blue-eyed beauty will steal your heart the moment you meet her. Although she may act shy at first all you have to do is sit on the floor with her favorite purple brush and she will be instantly in your lap craving attention and wanting to be brushed for as long as you are willing. She gets along with all her roommates and wants most of the attention focused on her. She has been dog tested and would not do well with any canine residents and would prefer a quieter home. Could you be the one to give this perfect girl home?

Odette

Odette is a beautiful girl who’s friendly and playful with people. With other cats, she can be shy and nervous at first, but once she gets to know them she’s happy to play. Born in the spring of 2017, she came from a California shelter.

Odette’s a spunky little girl who is very curious and can make a toy out of anything. She’s smart too and has learned a few tricks with clicker training. She’s on a raw diet right now but may not need to be forever. She loves people and loves to play!

Odette would do best in a home that will give her lots of toys to keep her brain busy. If you’re looking for a smart, spunky, fun-loving cat to brighten up your home, ask about Odette today.

Bandit and Batman

Brothers Bandit and Batman are friendly and affectionate 5 month old puppies. They are very playful and will need someone who is patient and willing to provide training. This breed has an immense work drive and excels at hunting, and chasing. Their boundless energy and supple gait make them excellent running partners. They are true-blue loyal, famously smart, ever alert, and wary of strangers. If they aren’t challenged, this breed easily becomes bored and gets into mischief. It is recommended that owners participate with this breed in some work, sport, or regular exercise to keep him mentally and physically fit. Ideally adopted together but can be adopted separately.

Henry

This little 8-month-old guy is a lover. He wants to be with his people 24 hours a day! Henry is the perfect size at approximately 25 pounds. (He is much smaller than he looks in his pictures.) He is great with everyone and ready to be your constant companion and adventure sidekick. We believe he’s a mix of Kelpie and border collie. Henry is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone.

Jet

Jet is a handsome boy who has lots of love to give. He’s around 2 years old and longs to be in a loving home. He’s ready to romp and play and enjoys his can food. Jet is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Stoli

This two-year-old doll will steal your heart. She had been dumped in an area common for this practice and when we were rescuing kittens, she stole her way into the van to eat and then stole our heart. Stoli will be sooo appreciative of a loving home where she won’t be hungry anymore. She will reward you with lots of head butts and cuddles. Stoli is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Salem

Thirteen-year-old Salem is longing to find a quiet loving home where he can enjoy his senior years. Salem is blind and will be having surgery soon to have both of his eyes removed. He is very friendly and will reward you with lots of cuddles. Salem is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Olive and Sunshine

Olive is the most stunning girl with amazing gold eyes and a cute little pink nose. She’s shy for about 10 seconds but as soon as you sit on the floor with her, she’s in your lap giving the sweetest kisses.

Sunshine is a beautiful, loving girl with piercing eyes who loves getting belly rubs and giving puppy kisses.

Pugsley

Pugsley is a charming one-year-old who is looking for a family of his own. He’s playful and smart; already knows sit and how to use the dog door, loves romping with other dogs, enjoys a good game of keep away, and adores tummy rubs!

Pugsley has not been neutered yet and males like that often have a nasty habit of lifting their legs on everything, at least at first. This will hopefully not be the case once he’s been neutered and his foster will need to keep an eye on him to help correct this behavior. He’s an awesome boy though, so it will be worth the effort.

Pugsley is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once he has been neutered, the adoption will be completed and this handsome boy will be all yours!

Titan and Keeva

Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.

The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.

With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.

To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
