25 Investigates: 3-year-old boy dies after being pulled from pool on Martha’s Vineyard

EDGARTOWN, Mass. — 25 Investigates has learned a 3-year-old boy drowned this week at a private club on Martha’s Vineyard.

The incident occurred Monday at the Field Club in Edgartown.

The child was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he died two days later.

Sources told 25 Investigates that the little boy was found at the bottom of a swimming pool used for one of the club’s day camps and that lifeguards were on duty at the time.

The Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office is investigating.
