I like the concept of an air fryer, but I don’t need another appliance in the tiny kitchen of my NYC apartment.
The Ninja SP100 might change my mind. Currently around 40% off at Woot, this 6-in-1 digital air fryer is wide enough to cook a pizza, but it can also air fry, roast, broil, bake and toast. The real selling point here, however, is that when you’re done cooking, you can save half of your counter space by simply flipping the oven up and away — which also makes it easier to clean, too, both around the fryer and even inside, as there’s an easily accessible back panel and a removable crumb tray.
Did we mention the SP100 (also known as the “Ninja Foodi”) is deceptively big? It can fit a 13″ x 13″ sheet pan size — up to nine slices of toast or a 13″ pizza — or air fry up to 4 lbs.
This Ninja model is going for up to $175-$210 on other sites, so this is a great deal (free shipping, too). However, two things to note: It’s Woot, so it’s a one-day offer. And this is a “refurbished” model — not that we’re against refurbished.
