Phoenix-based Shooter’s World, a family-owned and operated firearms education facility, indoor shooting range, and gun retailer in Arizona, is opening its third Phoenix-area location at 13740 W. Auto Drive in Goodyear. This new location is the West Valley’s first facility of its kind and brings more than 50 jobs to the community.

We’ve focused on serving the Valley for the last 20-years with an emphasis on creating a non-intimidating setting for assisting first-time buyers, educating families on gun safety, and creating a community of responsible gun owners,” said Phil Roux, Co-Owner of Shooter’s World. “We’re excited to extend our charitable and philanthropic efforts too. It’s an essential part of our culture knowing we embrace the ability to give back and create positive impact.”

At 36,000 square feet, the Goodyear location provides a unique experience, quality education, and an extensive selection of guns and accessories for men, women, and families of all abilities. The facility includes an education center offering multiple group training rooms and individual private-lesson pods for one-on-one training. The retail space is over 5000 square feet with product displays and demonstration zones, allowing visitors a hands-on approach to buying. An indoor, climate-controlled shooting range with 24 state-of-the-art lanes offers customers a safe and enjoyable environment for trying a firearm before purchasing, practicing their skills, and having a fun experience with friends and family.

The facility in Goodyear opens in early Fall of 2021, with access to retail and education, including Concealed Carry Weapons Permits (CCW), Defensive Mindset, and Children’s Gun Safety courses. The indoor-shooting range is planned for early 2022. Shooter’s World is also a venue for hosting special events like corporate team-builders, bachelor and bachelorette parties with private bays on the shooting range, conference rooms, wifi, and A/V technology.
Shooter’s World has been a staple in the Valley since the late 1980s and under its current ownership of Phil and Lisa Roux since 2002. Noted as Arizona’s Premiere Indoor Shooting Range, the facility continues to advance shooting sports and responsible gun ownership.
