VIDEO: Man riding bicycle stabs food delivery worker in Brooklyn police say

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Officials released surveillance footage of a man they said stabbed a food delivery worker while on a bike Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn.

It was reported to police that at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, in the vicinity of 3480 Fulton Street, in Cypress Hills the 53-year-old victim was riding a bicycle and making a food delivery when he was approached from behind by an unknown individual who was also riding a bicycle.

The suspect then pulled out a large knife and stabbed the victim in his back, knocking him to the ground, the NYPD said.

Authorities said the suspect continued riding his bicycle heading eastbound on Fulton Street.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening puncture wound to his lower left back and was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, according to police.

The suspect is described as a man approximately 5'8" tall, 160 pounds, with a slim build, wearing a green ski mask, a green hooded shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
