Chicago police are warning of two carjackings reported in June in Hyde Park on the South Side.

In each incident, someone was approached by up to five men who struck them and drove off in their vehicle, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The robberies happened about 4:20 p.m. June 2 in the 1200 block of East 54th Street and about 2 a.m. June 4 in the 5300 block of South Blackstone Avenue, police said.
