Pet owners in all unincorporated areas in Los Angeles County, and certain participating cities within the county, will get a break on late fees if they are renewing pet licenses and also for new licenses, from April 15 to June 30, thanks to Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.
And for those looking for to add a furry addition to their family, there are still plenty of animals looking for home across the county, including in the South Bay and Long Beach areas. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, be sure to check if adoptions are by appointment only.
