No injures reported in domestic disturbance Friday night on Broad Street

Police surrounded a house on Broad Street Friday night where a suspect reportedly shot at his girlfriend during a disturbance.

During a domestic disturbance Friday evening, a dog was shot but no people were harmed.

According to Wichita Falls Police spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper, shortly after 6:30 p.m., Friday officers were sent to a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend at a house in the 2200 block of Broad Street.

During the disturbance the man shot one of their dogs. As the woman ran out of the house, there were possibly more shots fired.

Wichita Falls Police work the scene of a barricaded person Friday night at a house on Broad Street.

Eipper said the woman is safe and uninjured. Police secured the house and the WFPD SWAT team was called.

The house was cleared by SWAT and detectives executed a search warrant. When they searched the house, No one was inside the home. Eipper said the suspect could be charged later.
