SANDY, Utah (ABC4) – A man has been taken into custody in relation to Friday’s shooting, Saturday.
According to the Sandy Police Department, 18-year-old Tyson Conner Rocco was arrested Saturday night in connection to the shooting involving two minors.
Officials say Rocco was booked in on multiple charges including attempted aggravated homicide.
The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was also recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Original Story: Police confirm two minors shot in Sandy, searching for suspects

SANDY, Utah (ABC4) – Police are searching for suspects connected to a shooting that injured two minors in Sandy, Friday.
Sgt. Clayton Swenson of the Sandy Police Department confirms two juveniles between the ages of 12 and 14 years old were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Police say the victims are Midvale residents who were walking along the sidewalk when a white car pulled up and fired shots.
Law enforcement believe the suspects are driving a white passenger car, possibly a VW.
Police say they do not know if this was a random or targeted incident. They do have a video of the car leaving the scene and several witnesses.
The shooting happened near 8800 South 200 East, or the Historic Sandy TRAX Station. Multiple 911 calls were made around 5:16 p.m. about the shooting.
Police are looking for suspects in connection to the shooting.
