Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will be opening up two locations in Utah this summer, the company announced in an April 13 press release emailed to the Deseret News.
The chicken finger chain will make its Utah debut with a South Jordan restaurant that will open on June 8 and a second location in Provo will follow later this summer, though no specific date for the Provo restaurant was given.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our second Utah restaurant than the vibrant and growing city of Provo,” said Chris Vines, Raising Cane’s area leader of restaurants, in the release.
“The new restaurant is in a busy retail area conveniently located near BYU, and we are expecting to see a lot of locals and visitors alike stop in to get their chicken finger fix,” Vines continued. “With community involvement as a focus, we are planning on becoming closely involved with our local schools and businesses as well as participate in local events.”
According to the release, Raising Cane’s plans to open additional locations throughout Utah in the future.
Raising Cane’s was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996 by Todd Graves and has since expanded to more than 25 states across the U.S., the company’s website reports. According to a recent ranking by Thrillist, the chain is home to the best fast food chicken tenders in the country.
