Only freeway closure this weekend is a portion of Loop 101 in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — A portion of the Loop 101 in north Phoenix is the only freeway closure this weekend for Valley drivers, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
The westbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway in north Phoenix will be closed between State Route 51 and Seventh Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.
The northbound SR 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101 and westbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 56th Street and Cave Creek Road will also be closed. The northbound SR 51 ramp to Black Mountain Boulevard will remain open.

The on-ramp at Bullard Avenue to the westbound Interstate 10 in the West Valley will also be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for barrier wall repairs.
