NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Dozens of protesters temporarily shut down part of the Holland Tunnel to traffic on Thursday night.

Video shows protesters blocking traffic at the westbound lanes of the tunnel in Manhattan.

Officials said all westbound lanes were closed at 10 p.m.

The protest began outside the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village before moving to the entrance of the tunnel.

The protesters were part of the Trans Rights and Black Lives Matter movements, according to WCBS-TV.

The demonstrators were protesting the deadly police shootings of Adam Toledo in Chicago and Daunte Wright near Minneapolis, WABC reported.

The protesters eventually dispersed. No arrests were reported.
