No one injured at Pedregal Mexican Restaurant in Lithopolis

LITHOPOLIS - Members of the Bloom Township Fire Department, Violet Township Fire Department, Lithopolis Police and other emergency personnel responded to a call around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday of a grease fire at El Pedregal Mexican Restaurant in Lithopolis.

Chief Jay Barton, of the Lithopolis Police Department, said that contractors were welding something on the roof where they were working when sparks caught some of the grease in the exhaust fan on fire.

Bloom Township had command of the scene while the others were called in for mutual aid. 

No one was injured in the incident.
