Another Michigan football player is looking for a new home.

Defensive lineman Phillip Paea entered the transfer portal Wednesday afternoon, shortly after the Wolverines' final spring practice took place Saturday.

Paea, who attended Berrien Springs High School, was a member of Michigan's 2017 recruiting class and will be a redshirt senior this upcoming season. During his time in Ann Arbor, he played multiple positions; in 2018, he appeared in two games as a backup offensive lineman. He did not play in 2019 and appeared in one game in 2020 as a backup defensive lineman.

The Wolverines have had several players enter portal this spring, including receiver and returner Giles Jackson (Washington), defensive back Hunter Reynolds and linebacker William Mohan.

Phillip Paea, a two-way lineman at Berrien Springs (Mich.) High, received offers from Notre Dame, Michigan State and Michigan in a five-day span in February.
