A summer slate of new Lifetime movies will include a story now familiar to Utah audiences in its infamy — and one that's not yet complete.

"Doomsday Mom," premiering June 26, is based on the story of Lori Vallow Daybell, who was arrested and charged after her children's bodies were found buried in her new husband's backyard.

Vallow will be portrayed on screen by actress Lauren Lee Smith, with her husband Chad Daybell acted by Marc Blucas.

According to Lifetime, the story will focus on Lori and Chad's "involvement in a doomsday-prepper group" and the numerous questionable deaths associated with Lori Daybell.

The bodies of JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, Lori's children, were found in Chad Daybell's backyard last June. They'd been missing for more than seven months before that.

The couple's trial on charges related to the destruction and concealment of the children's bodies was scheduled for July 12 but was recently postponed, with no new date set as of this report.

As for the "questionable deaths," investigations into the deaths of Chad's first wife Tammy Daybell and Lori's fourth husband Charles Vallow remain ongoing.

Linda Purl and Patrick Duffy will also star in the movie, though Lifetime didn't say which real-life characters they'll portray.
