CHS golf team ties for fourth

CHAPMAN — The Concordia High School golf team finished in a tie for fourth place in the Chapman Invitational Tuesday at Indian Hills Golf Course.
Concordia posted a four-man score of 392 and tied with Marysville.
Wamego easily won the tournament with a 326. Clay Center finished second with a 358 and Southeast of Saline was third with a 387.
Braxton Kindel led the way for Concordia by shooting a 90 and finishing in a tie for 10th place individually with Joel Huffaker, Southeast of Saline.
Hayden Dvorak carded a 91 for Concordia.
Keegan Hamel shot a 101 for the Panthers.
Aden Plymesser rounded out the top four with a 110.
Concordia also had Lewis VanMeter shoot a 113 and Christian Widen shoot a 125.
Jackson Rader, Marysville, fired a 1-under-par 71 to earn medalist honors.
