ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police say people were trapped in three separate vehicles involved in a crash Wednesday morning at the intersection of North Goodman Street and East Ridge Road in Irondequoit.

One of the vehicles ended up partially on top of another and became pinned between the other two.

Fire crews pulled five people from the wreckage, including an 8-year-old child.

According to police, that child suffered cuts to the face and mouth. They say injuries for the child and four adults range from minor to serious, but officers expect everyone to survive.

Charges could be pending once the cause of the crash is determined.
