A free paper-shredding event will be held April 21 in Woodbury — and four other shredding events have been scheduled.
The Washington County Environmental Center will shred papers for residents and businesses of Washington, Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin and Ramsey counties. There is a limit per customer of six boxes weighing up to 30 pounds each.
Other shredding events have been scheduled: June 16, Aug. 4, Sept. 29 and Nov. 17. All shredding events will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
