Five hospitalized after three-car crash in Irondequoit

Irondequoit, N.Y. – Five people, including an eight-year-old child, were taken to the hospital after a crash Wednesday morning in Irondequoit.

Police were called to the area of North Goodman Street and East Ridge Road around 8:30 a.m.

They say three vehicles were involved, one of which was found on its side. The drivers of all three vehicles were trapped for a period of time.

Two of the drivers suffered serious injuries, however, police say everyone is expected to recover. An eight-year-old child suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash, and there’s no word yet on charges.

The area of North Goodman Street and East Ridge Road has since reopened to traffic.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started for one of the crash victims.
