(Council Bluffs) Two people were arrested after Deputies responded to a trespass call at Loves Travel Stop in Shelby on Monday.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says dispatch advised that a banned and barred male was on scene asking to speak to an employee who was hiding in the office from the male. A Deputy arrived and observed the vehicle with the male inside leave the parking lot at a high rate of speed. After observing traffic violations, the Deputy conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop for some time, but eventually came to rest. The driver, 22-year-old Grace Anne Hall, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Willful Failure to Stop for Law Enforcement. The passenger, 44-year-old Matthew Joseph Gardner, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both parties were also given citations.
In other activity, the Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Nikki Lee Phipps on Tuesday on a warrant for Contempt.
Jacob Kyle Eric Caudill, 29, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for two counts of Animals at Large and three counts of Failure to Properly License an Animal.
