Searcy man struck in Pulaski County pedestrian crash

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A man was killed in a pedestrian crash in North Little Rock Tuesday, state police reported.

Jesse Cox, 61, of Searcy, was in the middle lane of Interstate 40 around 9:36 p.m. when he was hit by a 2015 Kia Soul, according to state police. The driver of the Kia was not injured.

Cox was later pronounced dead.

State police said conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
