Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Filers for unemployment benefits continue to be frustrated this week because of computer issues with the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
The system for filing has been down all week, and the agency is well aware of it.
DETR says they're working to fix the problem and are telling frustrated claimants that once the system is fixed, eligible recipients will be able to file a claim for the week they missed in addition to the current week.
What caused the system to not work hasn't been explained. DETR says the glitch is expected to be fixed in time for next week's filing period.
