Body Found In Queens Wrapped In Blanket And Stowed In Car Trunk

Cops caught the men hauling the woman's body from a building in Far Rockaway and stashing it in the back of a car.

FAR ROCKAWAY, QUEENS — The body of a woman wrapped in a blanket and stashed in the trunk of a car in Queens was found by police on Wednesday. Four men have been arrested, the NYPD said.

Police first spotted the men leaving a building on Foam Place, near Mott and Central Avenue in Far Rockaway, around 1:50 a.m., carrying a large item.

The men put the item in the back of a car and drove away.

When officers stopped the car about a mile away near the Nassau Expressway and Bayview Avenue in Nassau County they discovered the woman’s body in the trunk.

She was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

As of 10 a.m. this morning the cause of death is still unknown, an NYPD spokesperson said.
