On April 10th, the Miss Hastings Scholarship Program announced that Sophie Keeler, Miss Hastings for 2020, was one of several students, faculty, and staff recognized by the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa during their annual Tapping on the Mound ceremony. Inducted into the Blue Key Honor Society, Sophie is an honors student with a 4.0 GPA. Blue Key members represent high scholastic ideals, leadership, and diversity of background. Selection is one of the highest honors given to rising seniors.
