7-year-old shot in both legs at Oklahoma City park

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — A 7-year-old boy was shot in both legs while playing at Phillips Park near NE 27th St. and N Prospect Ave around 7:30 pm Tuesday, April 13th.

The child told officers that he was playing tag by the big kid swings with his cousins when he got shot.

OU Children's Hospital said the boy's wounds were non-life-threatening.

Officers went to the park and attempted to locate a scene but said they were unable to do so.

A suspect has not been identified.
