BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 19-year-old Darrius Wheeler and 19-year-old Kendrick White are facing the same charges after they were apprehended on Tuesday, April 13.
Wheeler and White were arrested “by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force for their involvement in the shooting death of Johntrell Cain that occurred on April 10, 2021 in the parking lot at 6486 Florida Blvd.,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The two 19-year-olds are facing these charges:
- 2nd Degree Murder
- Illegal Use of a Weapon
Wheeler and White “were booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Prison” after their arrest.
