ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — First responders headed to southeast Roanoke Wednesday morning after a fire was reported at a residential structure.

According to a tweet from Roanoke Fire-EMS on Wednesday, April 14, units were dispatched to the 1200 block of Dale Avenue SE for a fire shortly after 8:15 a.m.

When crews arrived at the scene, they reportedly found light smoke coming from a residence, but the fire was marked under control within 10 minutes.

The department says the home was believed to be vacant.

According to fire officials, there are no reports of injuries from this fire.
