Omaha police officer injured in wrong-way crash
An Omaha police officer suffered minor injuries in a crash in downtown Omaha early Wednesday morning.Omaha police told KETV NewsWatch 7 that a woman driving the wrong way on Dodge Street collided with a southbound cruiser at 10th Street around 2:30 a.m. Investigators said the cruiser had the green light.Two officers were in the cruiser, police said. The officer on the passenger side of the vehicle went to the hospital. The other officer was not injured. Neither was the woman in the second vehicle.No word yet of any charges or citations in the case.
