Coming up short to arch rivals Camp Verde for eight straight years was all the motivation Chino Valley softball needed to completely and utterly demolish the Cowboys 25-2 in their match-up on Tuesday, April 13.
The rivalry between Chino Valley and Camp Verde is a bitter and storied one. Since 2013, the Cowboys have held the upper hand by emerging victorious in every meeting. But this time, a revamped Cougars team was out for revenge and they were able to get it in a big way on their home field.
