A Bronx resident says she left the dentist's office with injuries all over her body.
The victim says she went to 505 Dental Associates because her tooth hurt but left with more pain after a violent beating from someone who works there.
Zinnia Torres says she was attacked by an employee on the sidewalk outside of the office Monday morning.
She has cuts and stitches across her face, chest and arm.
Torres says she had an appointment for 10:30 a.m. and was told to wait outside. About an hour had passed when she knocked on the door and asked when she would be let in.
Torres says she decided to go in as another patient came out, but was turned away.
"And as I'm walking to the car, the girl hits me in the back of my head with a sharp object. I immediately fall to the ground and she continues with that sharp object," says Torres.
She says she had to call an ambulance for herself.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation. They say by the time they arrived, the employee was gone so they are still trying to make an arrest.
News 12 reached out to the dentist office multiple times but has not heard back.
