17-year-old suspect will be tried as adult in deadly October shooting in southwest Louisville
A teenager arrested for a deadly shooting in Lake Dreamland will be tried as an adult.
Anthony Anaya, 17, faces murder and robbery charges in the October death of Dalton Doggrell. Ethan Maddox and James Barton Jr. are also charged in the case.
Police did not release a booking photo of Anaya when he was arrested.
The shooting was reported in the early morning hours of Oct. 27 in the 4000 block of Senn Road. Officers found the victim -- 27-year-old Doggrell -- dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
Prosecutors said Anaya, Maddox and Barton planned to rob Doggrell and they shot him before he handed over his wallet and keys to his truck.

In January, detectives announced two arrests in the case. Maddox, 19 of Louisville, was arrested by Middletown police for his alleged role in a string of armed robberies.
Maddox later told detectives he was present during the October shooting of Doggrell.
Court records said the suspects took the victim's truck and then set it on fire at a park.
Few details have been released about Anaya, except that he was located with the help of the fugitive squad and then brought to the homicide unit.
All three are due back in court in June.
