Marlborough Bicyclist Airlifted After Collision
A Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council team responded to the crash scene in Marlborough Tuesday evening.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A man riding a bicycle was seriously injured in a collision with a truck in the downtown Marlborough area Tuesday evening, according to police.
The cyclist collided with a truck near the intersection of Mechanic Street and Lincoln Street, according to Auburn Chief Andrew Sluckis, who leads a Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) crash investigation team.
The cyclist was airlifted to UMass Memorial in Worcester for treatment, Sluckis said.

The scene of the crash was just two blocks north of where a 52-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a truck on Saturday night.
