A Chicago man was killed in a crash with a semi-truck Tuesday morning in Porter County, Indiana.

Marcus McCoy, 23, was driving about 5:30 a.m. near 175 East US Highway 20 when his minivan collided with a semi-truck, according to the Porter County coroner’s office.

McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the coroner’s office said. He was the sole occupant of the minivan.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
