Doss and Miller each were found to have engaged in "self-dispatch," meaning that the officers showed up without having been sent by 9-1-1 or a supervisor.

The officers both plead "not guilty" to the first offense.

Doss and Miller were also found to have not properly placed their individual body cameras on for the duration of their duty, and each plead "no contest."

The two patrol officers were both found guilty and were handed written reprimands and letters of reinstruction for their actions.

The city of Cleveland also said in a letter released Tuesday evening that they will not face further punishment for their actions.

"In this instance, the Office of Professional Standards conducted an investigation prior to the completion of the Cleveland Division of Police internal investigation. A discipline in this case has been issued, further discipline cannot be rendered."
