Help ID An Armed Robbery Suspect: Brookhaven, Decatur Police

Brookhaven and Decatur police departments are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect from two 2020 armed robberies.

BROOKHAVEN, GA β€” The Brookhaven and Decatur police departments need the public's help identifying a suspect believed to have committed two armed robberies, one in each city, in 2020.

Christian Kwan Hunt, 21, is wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault. He is described as a Black male, light complexion, six feet tall with tattoos on his left arm and right side of his neck, police said. He may be in Lithonia, and also has ties to Dooly County.

Police said around 5:35 p.m. June 8, 2020, a man robbed a T-Mobile store in the 400 block of Church Street in Decatur. He had a silver handgun and demanded cash from the register, and ran away after receiving the money.

Then three days later, a man committed a separate robbery at a Wing Stop restaurant in the 4000 block of Peachtree Road in Brookhaven, police said. In that robbery, the suspect again pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register, running away again on foot after getting the money.

Police said Hunt is suspected of both crimes. He may frequent or regularly use the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) service.

Hunt has not yet been charged by Decatur police, but is considered a suspect, Brookhaven police said. Brookhaven police have already obtained arrest warrants for Hunt.

Anyone with information about Hunt's location is asked to contact Brookhaven or Decatur police. Tips may also be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Those submitting tips may be eligible for a cash reward.
