Two Devils Lake residents were reportedly not substantially injured after their car spun into a ditch near a National Guard installation on Tuesday afternoon, according to a crash report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Joshua Sailor, 20, was allegedly driving "too fast for the existing roadway conditions" on Newgard Drive, which connects Highway 20 to Camp Grafton, N.D., according to the release. Sailor allegedly lost control of the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan he was reportedly driving and spun into the ditch, striking a tree. He and his passenger, 18-year-old Bailey Tabor, also of Devils Lake, received non-life-threatening injuries, and neither was reportedly wearing a seatbelt.

Sailor was cited for failing to maintain control of his vehicle, according to the NDHP report.
