Wilmington police vehicle overturned in Tuesday afternoon crash

A Wilmington police vehicle responding to a shooting scene was involved in a Tuesday afternoon crash in the city's Southbridge section.
The accident happened at C and Heald streets and involved two other cars, one of which was unoccupied.
The police vehicle was flipped on its side in the crash.
A spokesperson for the Wilmington Police Department said two officers were taken to the hospital for evaluation. The driver of the occupied vehicle was also taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
