There’s nothing quite so delicious as a good secret.

Except, maybe, a secret menu item — one that you order with a knowing smile while uttering a cryptic password. That burger on the menu? Only die-hard customers know that it can be ordered with an egg and bacon on top. That pizza? Yes, it does come with a slew of secret toppings after 10 p.m.

On Tik Tok and Instagram, secret menu items and dish hacks are having a moment. Tik Tok user Chris Salvaggio (Salvaggio_chris) has racked up more than 303,000 likes for his video of the “Red Gummy Bear Drink,” a Strawberry Acai Refresher with some serious modifications: swap out water for peach juice, add two pumps of raspberry syrup, hold the strawberries, and add your own gummy bears.
