Grandson of former Lake Success Mayor Bernstein shines at Augusta

Michael B. Bernstein graduated from Great Neck South High School in 1990, and from the University of Michigan in 1994.

Within the past years he moved from Michigan with his wife, Veronica, and their 3 children, Lucas, Jacob and Bekah to the warmer weather in Fresno, California where his son Lucas Bernstein could spend more time playing golf.

Lucas has won many ‘kids’ golf tournaments these past few years and was invited to participate as one of the 80 children in the United States in the Augusta Masters in Georgia where he qualified in the “Kids “ Drive, Chip and Putt” contest on April 4, 2021.

Lucas won his age bracket at the age bracket of 7 to 9 year!  His Grandfather, the former Mayor of Lake Success the Honorable Robert S. Bernstein, as well and his Grandmother Carol are so proud of his perfect composure, his continued effort to play golf and now be a winner of this prestigious golf event.
