Police: Woman attacked, robbed in Brooklyn apartment after meeting man on dating site

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A Brooklyn woman was shoved to the ground and robbed by a man she met on a dating website, police said.

The 23-year-old victim had arranged to meet the man at her apartment back on March 15.

When he showed up at her place, police said he stole about $200 from the victim and pushed her to the floor before running off on foot.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect captured near the victim's apartment building on Albany Avenue and Herkimer Street.
