WEEKS. WELL, YOU CAN GET YOUR FAVORITE FAIR FOOD MONTHS BEFORE THE FAIR. THAT’S BECAUSE OSU OKC IS HOLDING A FAIR FOOD EVENT THIS WEEK. YEAH, JUST THE FOOD VENDORS HAVE THE CLASSICS LIKE FUNNEL CAKES TURKEY LEGS CINNAMON ROLLS. THAT SOUNDS GOOD. THIS SCHOOL HELD THE SAME EVENT LAST YEAR. AND THEY SAY THEY HAD A HUGE TURNOUT. ESPECIALLY THROUGHOUT THE LAST YEAR WITH THE PANDEMIC PEOPLE HAVE BEEN INDOORS AND NOT HAD ACCESS TO EVENTS SUCH AS THIS SO WE WANTED TO INVITE THE VENDORS BACK FOR ANOTHER SESSION SO WE COULD HELP THE COMMUNITY RENEGRATE. WELL, THE FOOD TRUCKS ARE OPEN DAILY FROM 12 TO 8PM THROUGH THIS COMING SUNDAY. SO YEAH, WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE? I MEAN YOU GOT TO GO CORN DOG RIGHT CORN DOG. I ALWAYS GET AN INDIAN TACO EVERY TIME I I GO I FEEL LIKE DAMON YOU WOULD GET ONE OF ALL THE ABOVE. YOU KNOW WHAT ACTUALLY I WASN’T HAD A GLAZED DONUT BURGER. OH, YEAH. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I MEAN, I THINK JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING AT THE FAIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS UNLESS YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT LIKE THE GROSS BUGS THEY PUT ON TOP OF THE PIZZA AND IT’S LIKE MORE OF A NOVELTY THING BUT THE GLAZED DONUT BURGER. Oklahoma State University’s Oklahoma City campus is hosting an event featuring Oklahomans’ favorite State Fair food items.The university invited State Fair food vendors back to the campus for another event happening from noon to 8 p.m. April 19 through 25. It's staged in the north parking lot of the OSU-OKC campus, 900 North Portland Ave., adjacent to the school’s Engineering Technology Center.According to organizers, as many as 15 fair food vendors are on hand, slinging favorites like funnel cakes, turkey legs, curly fries, Indian tacos, pita sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and more.Parking is free for the Fair Food Extravaganza event, and vendors will accept cash or credit cards. Visitors are encouraged to observe proper social distancing guidelines, officials said.
