DEDHAM, MA — Some Dedham residents have received a package with a cell phone inside, followed by a person ringing their bell and saying the package was delivered to the wrong address.

Police say this isn't a simple mistake, but a scam in which a stolen credit card is used to order merchandise to be delivered at an unrelated address. The person who ordered the package using the card attempts to pick up the package when they receive it was a notification that it was delivered.
