Police: 14-year-old boy robbed by duo at Bronx laundromat

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A 14-year-old boy was robbed at a laundromat in the Bronx, police said Saturday as they released video of the robbery and the two suspects they’re searching for.

The boy was at the 4 Bros Laundromat on E. 167th Street in the Morrisania section last Saturday afternoon when two teenage boys came in and demanded his valuables while simulating a weapon, police said.

The boy then handed over his iPhone and AirPods, valued at $1,500, according to police.

Video shows the boy alone as the two teens approach him at the laundromat.

The two robbers took off northbound on 167th Street toward Clay Avenue, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police said they believe the suspects are between 16 and 20 years old.
