West Texas musician Daniel Markham will be performing his first show of the new year right here in Lubbock, Texas at The Blue Light on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021.

Live music has been missing from Lubbock for what feels like forever and we are getting pretty close to life going back to normal, so what better way to kick things off than the sweet sweet beats of one of my favorite musicians.

Markham recently released a fantastic new album entitled Burnout and I haven't stopped listening to it since it dropped. I was lucky enough to get an interview with him a couple of weeks ago, and I swear I've listened to his song "Don't It Feel So Good" about a thousand times now. I'm hoping to catch him perform it at the show. It's some good s**t. If you haven't heard it yet, do yourself a favor and look him up on Spotify.

The Blue Light is located in the heart of the depot district and has a killer lineup for the month of March. Be sure to follow the venue on Facebook for more information on upcoming shows that you won't want to miss.

Don't forget to come on out to see Markham on Wednesday, March 10th. I'll be there with bells on, so say hello to me, too. I might even buy you a drink if you play your cards right.

Let's support our local rockers and have an awesome night at The Blue Light. I'll see you there.
